Condyloma is easily spread, kissing, touching, intercourse without a condom, orally. Generally the more common variety in men does not lead to cancer. The warts can be treated by surgery, burning with nitrogen, etc. but once you have the infection you have the infection. There is a vaccine, but my understanding is that it only works for people who are totally uninfected (i.e. virgins)

Gernerally it is irritating but not too serious.

Welcome to the club. Go see a proctologist every year for a look see, just takes a few minutes and quite painless. Perhaps if the doctor is super cute it could be fun.
